I so enjoy your posts and your unique insight to our wonderful faith. It's tended to be under rated, but I never fail to be inspired by it. This year it was aired at 1am Easter morning, and though it meant a late night, I couldn't miss it.Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00472259138110074965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30512717.post-64357452131238012082009-04-16T12:38:00.000-07:002009-04-16T12:38:00.000-07:00Dear Habemuspapa,

If one has taken a picture of a saint off of the internets and printed it out, is it a sacramental? (I am trying to clean up my office and started worrying about whether two such items could go into the recycling pile) The other questions is, is one allowed to construct one's own novena? I would assume so but have wondered about this off and on.Katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03040402805274505304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30512717.post-29556151328147739932009-04-15T12:37:00.000-07:002009-04-15T12:37:00.000-07:00Hey, I loved The King of Kings!! I find myself wanting to pray to my children's and husband's guardian angels, to ask them to protect my loved ones and lead them to Jesus and His Church. Is there a prayer for this? Is this 'kosher'? Surely I'm not the first person in the history of Christianity to think of this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30512717.post-38348626706425698172009-04-15T05:02:00.000-07:002009-04-15T05:02:00.000-07:00Toooo funny. From 1934, it is the story of the Old Testament as told by an ancient African American southern pastor, based on a pulitzer prize winning play that played on Broadway during the early 30's. With an all black cast you couldn't escape the rampant stereotypes of the day but the story telling was from the unique perspective of devout black sourthern christians and was very moving. The scenes of Babel and King Herod's court were stunning.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16468750087984661895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30512717.post-77035676911220197532009-04-15T03:23:00.000-07:002009-04-15T03:23:00.000-07:00I spent considerable time looking for an easter bo...I spent considerable time looking for an easter bonnet this year. Finding hats is getting harder and harder. I wonder how much the decline of hats as a fashion accessory can be linked to the post Vatican II women don't have to wear hats to church anymore thing?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01930002347106840484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30512717.post-53777842135909507592009-04-14T18:18:00.000-07:002009-04-14T18:18:00.000-07:00HAHAHAHAHA!
