He then mention in...My pastor broke his little toe. He then mention in a sermon how this threw his whole gait off walking etc...that the little toe is very important. He used this to illustrate that this is like all of us in the Body of Christ. I like to think of that.

On another note...I really enjoyed your story. You have a compassionate heart, which really stands out.

My mom got in a car accident and I got called to the hospital. The guard would not let me in (a public hospital so the security guard was behind a gate thingy) until he felt "I would not faint when I saw here".

It was a hard experience and I do faint at the sight of blood...but even though my mom's head was bloody...I was totally able to handle it. I was so grateful to God that He had so much mercy for sparing her.

She did bitch me out even all bloody like that. I think I am a lot like her.

Anyway, sorry to babble on...God bless you.

-your favorite heretical Protestant Calvinistdutchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05037048434409857094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30512717.post-1157687079098163242006-09-07T20:44:00.000-07:002006-09-07T20:44:00.000-07:00I once broke my little toe kicking my mother's sew...I once broke my little toe kicking my mother's sewing machine (don't ask). I knew that it was broken, but I couldn't do anything about it since no one was home. It was a few painful hours before my parents came home and took me to the hospital. It was so frustrating to be immobilized by such a small part of me! Hopefully you'll be up and around soon.Wimseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13485428454393278673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30512717.post-1157686396758772842006-09-07T20:33:00.000-07:002006-09-07T20:33:00.000-07:00I know the Lord is shouldering the weight of my sw...I know the Lord is shouldering the weight of my swollen toe.Sister Mary Marthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00580244097177195453noreply@blogger.com
